4th edition of the Immersive Festival, from 20th to 23rd March, at Lisboa Incomum
From 20 to 23 March, the Immersive Festival returns to the Lisboa Incomum space in Lisbon with a programme entirely dedicated to experimental electronic music. Organised annually by Project DME, this project aims to explore the possibilities of dome-shaped sound systems, providing an immersive listening experience.
The 2025 programme will open on 20 March with the installation of the pieces selected as part of CALL FOR MUSIC – Immersive Festival 2025. The selected artists include numerous national and international names, including António Ferreira, Barry Yuk Bun Wan, Clemens von Reusner, Guilherme de Almeida, Mattia Benedetti, Stefano Catena and Wiktor Mastela.
Over the four days of the Festival there will be four concerts where, alongside an extensive repertoire of works and artists, the soloists of the DME Ensemble, Alex Waite (on piano), Beatriz Costa (on violin) and Miguel Rocha (on cello) will be presented for the first time. The concerts will take place at 7.30pm and admission is free on completion of a registration form.
In addition to this musical programme, there will also be four composition seminars on 22 and 23 March, led respectively by Elizabeth Anderson, Mario Mary, Annette Vande Gorne and João Pedro Oliveira. Participation in these seminars requires prior registration by 17 March, at a cost of 30 euros per day (2 seminars).
Information on the Immersive Festival programme can be found on the project’s website.
