5 Cultural Suggestions — Luiza Teixeira de Freitas
Every week, UMBIGO invites two people to share their 5 cultural suggestions. What can we do at home? From a book to a podcast, album or film: here are recommendations from artists, curators, gallery owners, cultural activists, friends.
We will share the recipe for what makes us better, and we remain united and positive.

Project
Four Flags
Four Flags project that started in Amsterdam and the second is already happening in São Paulo at Galeria Jaqueline Martins. It is a project that commissions flags designed by artists. It aims to support artists in these difficult times that we are going through and promotes art in a public space. It is worth seeing it.

Books
Boy
by Roald Dahl
1984
All Roald Dahl children’s books, including Boy about his own childhood. Many illustrated by the incredible Quentin Blake. It has been an adventure to read chapter books with few (but great) illustrations for my young children who still can’t read.
Reborn
Susan Sontag
2009
I’m reading Susan Sontag’s Reborn – I highly recommend it.
Music
Vladimir Horowitz plays Mozart
1987
I have heard Vladimir Horowitz plays Mozart: Concerto No. 23 (1987) so many times. It brings me enormous comfort with a childhood flavor and keeps me company to work in the quiet of dawn.
