Artissima is one of the most cherished art fairs in Europe a probably the main Italian destination for most contemporary art galleries, which since 1994 try to show their artists in this art market in Turin.

This year the event will occur from 3 to 5 November, three short days for such an amount of works, artists, representatives and gallerists. In this sense, the organization of Artissima organized a digital catalogue so that each one of the attendants may prepare their itineraries beforehand. We also highlight the side programs or the parallel agenda, filled with special guests, book launchings, several presentations, prize awarding and conversations around the art market and contemporary art.

In what concerns to Portugal, lots of galleries have participated regularly in this art fair in Turim and this year the curatorship of the Disegni section was delegated to the Portuguese João Mourão and Luís Silva, from Kunsthalle Lissabon, in which will be discussed the practice and art of drawing.

Umbigo magazine will be present along the four days of events and, in this context, the next printed edition (number 63) will feature a special report on the backstage of this art fair and what were the main galleries and exhibitions – i.e., a digest review of the most important venues.
