Competition launched by Absolut for artists and designers

Absolut launched a global competition for artists and designers to develop the new bottle of this well-known vodka brand, with the main goal of finding the next creative voice of the brand.

The prize has a total amount 20 000€ and the winner has the chance of seeing his/her design featured in an iconic outdoor, for example, in Piccadilly Circus or Times Square. The creative conditions, even though thin, must meet the usual slogans of Absolut related to inclusion, gender equality, freedom to love – in short, the vision of global, cosmopolitan brand.

Those interested may download the template available at the website of the competition which must be sent afterwards to a jury appreciation yet to be disclosed in its entirety.

In Portugal the candidates will evaluated by Joana Astolfi, Alexandre Melo and a member from the global jury. Once chosen, the Portuguese winner will meet his or her peers from the other 18 countries participating and will be part of a final, global competition in May where the ultimate design is going to be revealed.
